Titan Power Adds Another Service Technician in Nevada

Titan Power is pleased to announce that we have added another Field Service Technician to meet the needs of our rapidly growing customer base in the State of Nevada.
 
“As our customer base grows, so does the need to ensure prompt service. Our Service Engineers and Technicians often travel among Titan’s service areas of Arizona, California, Nevada, Colorado and New Mexico. The addition of a Service Technician in Nevada will enable us to reduce the amount of traveling for our entire service team and enable us to better service all of our customers.” says Andrew Berney, President of Titan Power.
 
Bill Kasimoff is Titan Power’s newest Service Technician for our Nevada customers. Bill comes to Titan Power with experience in maintenance and repair of UPS systems. He previously worked for CBM, Inc. performing preventative maintenance, battery replacements and repair work on United Power Phase One systems. Bill’s education includes a Bachelor of Science degree, a ASEET and a BASEET degree from ITT Technical Institute. Additionally, Bill has completed the Universal EPA Certification Program for HVAC , electronic process and system wiring.

Titan Power Attends 7X24 Exchange Conference In Phoenix, AZ

The 2009 Fall Conference, End-to-End Reliability: The Changing Landscape of Data Centers, was held at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge in Phoenix, Arizona. It was a four-day conference starting on Sunday, November 15th and adjourned on Wednesday, November 18th. 

The conference was jam-packed full of noteworthy speakers and interesting topics. A list of speakers and topics and can be seen by clicking on the links below. This was Titan Power’s first time attending the conference and as a vendor in the Mission Critical industry, we found it to be very informative and useful in learning new approaches, products, ideas, solutions and techniques related to improving End-to-End reliability. The conference also provided its attendees with ample opportunities to network and share information and ideas with other professionals in the industry.

President of Titan Power and Service Technician give training session for customer

Andy Berney, President and Director of Operation for Titan Power, gave an overview training session to one of Titan Power’s valued customers, Wild Horse Pass Resort & Casino last week. Andy conducted this training along with Senior Service Technician, Thomas Rutledge, on how to properly operate a Liebert AP610, 750kVA Parallel UPS System.

Andy and Thomas provided this overview to the Facility Maintenance Personnel and reviewed the maintenance procedures and protocol so they had a better understanding of equipment. The entire training session was recoded by a camera crew and will be used for an on-site training resource for Wild Horse Pass Resort & Casino employees.

Titan Power’s Crtical Systems Engineer serves on Banner Health Committee

Bill McCluskey, Titan Power’s Critical Systems Engineer & Senior Project Manager, has been invited to participate on Banner Health’s Construction Committee. Supported by Banner’s Network Integrator Group, the Construction Committee researches and designs infrastructure support systems for the critical environment of new expansion medical centers. Its goal is to ensure safer and more reliable care to Banner patients, by implementing and installing the most leading edge technology in their critical technology environments.

As part of the committee, Bill will act as a Consultant in the area of emergency power systems. “The focus is to consolidate efforts to configure a scope with specific characteristics of what is appropriate for the capacity of each facility now and in the future.”

Bill’s contribution will be to ensure that engineering of these systems meet industry standards and include the most state of the art, up to date technology.  Titan Power and Bill McCluskey is proud to participate with Banner Health in pursuing growth opportunities and serving the Arizona Community.
